Scarborough Downs is a great place to hold your next party. We can accommodate groups of most any size! A group event at the races is always a memorable occasion. Your group will simply love the beautiful setting and unique venue -- everyone loves a day at the races!
Groups are considered 14 or more people. but any size group can make a reservation!

WHAT GROUP RATES INCLUDE (along with fun and excitement):
- FREE race program - 1 for each person (of betting age) in your group
- FREE quick (5 min) "how to" session on reading the program and placing bets
- FREE race dedication in the race program for that day
- WELCOME over the PA system to your group by the track announcer
- ONE FREE 8x10 color photo of your group in the Winner's circle with winning horse and driver of your race! Additional photos can be purchased through the track photographer at $20 apiece.
- Event coordinator assigned to your group to ensure a successful and joyful night at the races!
PARKING:
Scarborough Downs has plenty of free parking with ample space for motor coaches. Coaches may pull up to the front of either the Grandstand or Clubhouse for curbside loading and unloading. All facilities are handicapped accessible. Ample handicapped spaces are also provided.

GROUP FAQs
Q: Does each guest get a race program?
A: Yes. An official racing program is included for each guest in the group.
Q: What time may I and my guests arrive in the venue where I have reserved a table(s)?
A: You will be able to access your reserved table 1 hour before post time. If you want to come earlier to decorate your designated area please discuss that with the group sales supervisor. Some restrictions apply.
Q: How many races are there?
A: Scarborough Downs typically runs anywhere from 8-12 live races per day and a 4 pm post time typically ends at 7 pm. Sunday's 1:05 matinee races end at 4 pm.
Q: How do I work out payment for my group?
A: Because there are no costs associated with your day at the races, there is no bill. However, if your group books food with an outside caterer, you and the caterer would make those payment arrangements. If you run a bar tab, you would settle that up before your departure from the races. All bar tabs are held with a credit card. If you order food from the concessions stand, payment would be made upon ordering. Credit cards are not accepted at the Concessions stands.
Q: Can I use a credit card to place a bet?
A: No, all betting windows are cash only. There are 2 ATMs on the premises.
Q: Can children be a part of the group?
A: Yes, children are welcome at the races!
Q: Is there a special attire for a day at the races?
A: Scarborough Downs does not have a formal dress code other than casual but appropriate attire.
