"A Great Place to Party! "

Scarborough Downs is a great place to hold your next party. We can accommodate groups of most any size! A group event at the races is always a memorable occasion. Your group will simply love the beautiful setting and unique venue -- everyone loves a day at the races!

Groups are considered 14 or more people. Your event can take place in either The Downs Club (3rd floor of the Clubhouse building) during the summer racing meet, or the Winner's Circle Lounge, (Grandstand building) which is a smaller, more intimiate venue that is only available on non-race days.

Marketing Director, Susan Higgins, will be happy to work with you to arrange your event:

Tour groups * bachelor parties * bachelorette parties * class reunions * milestone birthdays * anniversaries * company outings* team building.... or just getting together with friends!

WHAT GROUP RATES INCLUDE (along with fun and excitement):

  1. FREE race program - 1 for each person (of betting age) in your group
  2. FREE quick (5 min) "how to" session on reading the program and placing bets
  3. FREE race dedication in the race program for that day
  4. WELCOME over the PA system to your group by the track announcer
  5. FREE 8x10 glossy photo of your group in the Winner's circle with winning horse and driver of your race!

PARKING:

Scarborough Downs has plenty of free parking with ample space for motor coaches. Coaches may pull up to the front of either the Grandstand or Clubhouse for curbside loading and unloading. All facilities are handicapped accessible. Ample handicapped spaces are also provided.
